Message from Supreme Knight

Dear Brother Knight,

I pray that the coming Christmas Season is filled with many blessings for you and your loved ones. Today I write with a request that you consider a last-minute Christmas gift — the gift of your prayers for our persecuted brothers and sisters.

In recent weeks, there have been threats of attacks made against Christians and Christian churches in more than a few parts of the world. A friend of the Knights, Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza of the Diocese of Yola, Nigeria, was recently interviewed about the increased threats and violence. When asked if he had a message for Christians around the world, he said simply, “we want you to support us with your prayers…without your prayers we may not be able to survive.”

As Knights, let us come to the aid of Bishop Mamza and all of our brothers and sisters suffering persecution. I ask that all Knights and their families pray a Novena For Persecuted Christians beginning on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24, 2021) and concluding on the World Day of Prayer for Peace (Jan. 1, 2022).

Thank you and let us continue to remember our persecuted brothers and sisters in our hearts and in our prayers — and especially this Christmas.

Fraternally,

Patrick E. Kelly

Supreme Knight
