Columbian Award

Dear Worthy Brothers:

At the end of Lent, we will have fulfilled all the requirements for the Columbian Award, as this is when the last requirement - Food for Families - ends.                                               

The form SP-7 has been completed and dated 19 April 2022, as that is Tuesday of Easter week.  The form needs Glenn Harahan's signature.  Once he has signed the form, it will be emailed to Supreme, our Worthy State Deputy, and our Worthy DD, Jack Planchard.  

Thank you to all who helped contribute to the successful completion of the many programs we have already done, and those yet to be done.  The form only lets us list four programs per category.  We have done many more than the sixteen mentioned on the SP-7 form.

 In Memorial Mr. George “Chip” Watson Clendaniel age 72 of Locust Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Clendaniel was born on September 13, 1951 in Washington, DC., the son of the late George Watson Clendaniel Jr. and the late Margaret Sable Clendaniel. He was a veteran of the US Navy of the Vietnam War. Chip was very active in his church serving as Alter Server, a member of the Knights of Columbus and started the first blood drive at the church. He was a loving and caring man of God who loved his church and his family dearly. In Memoriam: Walt Scott We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Walter Scott of Hiawassee, Georgia, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Walter Scott to show support. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Scott and Jane Smith Scott; his daughter Jill Sharon Scott; and his sister Janet Bell.
