Dear Worthy Brothers:

I regret to inform you the Knights of Columbus Exemplification for 3rd Degree Knighthood scheduled for Sunday 24 April 2022 has been cancelled. 

There are no new candidates, on-line members, or first and second-degree members that wanted to participate in the ceremony.

Our next scheduled Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity for 3rd Degree Knighthood is 24 April 2022 at 1:00 PM inside the church.

I need to know who will be attending by not later than this coming Tuesday not later than noon: 19 April 2022. Please let me know by text or email if you will attend and be sure to let me know your full name that you want printed on your certificate, as some of you use a nickname like me.  My contact information is below.  I need this information from you so that snacks can be ordered for the amount of people we expect to attend.  Remember spouses and relatives may observe the ceremony, so be sure to let me know this information too.  The ceremony is no longer private.  If no one replies to me by noon next Tuesday, then the ceremony will be cancelled and I will confirm this in an email to all.

 In Memorial Mr. George “Chip” Watson Clendaniel age 72 of Locust Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Clendaniel was born on September 13, 1951 in Washington, DC., the son of the late George Watson Clendaniel Jr. and the late Margaret Sable Clendaniel. He was a veteran of the US Navy of the Vietnam War. Chip was very active in his church serving as Alter Server, a member of the Knights of Columbus and started the first blood drive at the church. He was a loving and caring man of God who loved his church and his family dearly. In Memoriam: Walt Scott We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Walter Scott of Hiawassee, Georgia, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Walter Scott to show support. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Scott and Jane Smith Scott; his daughter Jill Sharon Scott; and his sister Janet Bell. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Hokenson Scott of Hiawassee; his children, Jeff Scott of Hiawassee, Jody (Fred Federico) and Jean (Ty Martin); his grandchildren, Tasia (Dan Nabors), William Knapp, Marissa Martin and Harrison Martin; his great grandchildren, Tate, Beau and Jett Nabors; his niece Lori (Ron Matthias); and his nephew Dan Bell.
