Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly and Knights of Columbus staff participate in Mass in the Vatican Grottoes on Sunday, Feb. 20, for the special intention of peace in Ukraine. Father Paul F. deLadurantaye celebrated the Mass in the Chapel of Sts. Benedict, Cyril and Methodius, co-patrons of Europe. Brother Knights, The situation in Ukraine is dire and worsening. The people of Ukraine, and our brother Knights and their families in that nation, need our help. I call upon all Knights to join me in praying for peace in Ukraine, and especially for the safety of our more than 1,800 brother Knights and their families who suddenly face the danger of war. Please also join me in responding to the recent  appeal  of Pope Francis to join him in prayer and fasting for Ukraine on Ash Wednesday, March 2. Dinner St Patricks Day

Worthy Brothers: We can use some more volunteers for the Ministry fair next weekend at both times (between the Saturday Vigil Masses, and between the Sunday morning masses).  I will ensure we have handouts to provide anyone interested in being a Knight, and we can also do online signups.  We will have posters, etc at the table, but need at least two additional Knights at our booth.  This is a great opportunity to do some outreach and networking, especially for the younger and newer Knights.  Let me know if you can help. St. Partick Dinner Social tickets will also go on sale next weekend.  I have printed fifty tickets, and I can print more if needed.  Price is $15.00/person.  I have poster for in the back of the church and will also have a small one at our booth in Marian Hall.  I need ticket sellers in the vestibule of the church before and after the English masses, and up to the start of the Spanish vigil mass. If anyone has a question or comment, my contact information is below. Fra

Thanks

Worthy Brothers: For those of you along with your guests, I trust everyone had a great time.   DJ Dan came out of retirement for his first trivia game night in close to a year, and this event made him decide to get back to doing so on a regular basis.  Many thanks to DJ Dan, as he did a great job and had some terrific brain teasers. The Council wants to thank George and Cecilia Holland, owners of Logan Turnpike Mills for donating the prizes for the Team Trivia Contest.  They were very much appreciated by the eight-person team that won.   For the chili contest, we had 15 entries, and 48 people in attendance.  47 tickets were sold, and one was comp'd.  15 people who had purchased tickets, did not come to the event.  Father Wise said the blessing and later after 6:30 PM mass ended, Father Lopez stopped by to say hello and see how things were going.  Due to the quantity of croc pots, judging took about 30 minutes, once it got started at about 5:40 PM. We had two chicken chili crock pot

Adam Fisk and his wife, Morgan, were told their baby would suffer long-term brain trauma. They attribute their son’s miraculous recovery to Our Lady of Lourdes, and in 2019, had the opportunity to visit the international shrine in thanksgiving — as participants of the Warriors to

Council Update

Worthy Brothers - January 2022 has been a month full of news and noteworthy events. We had a great turnout for the Cajun Bayou Classic Jambalaya Dinner prepared by Chefs Doug and Shirley Newton.  Desserts and Corn bread were provided by various Knights and their wives.  Many thanks to all, who were able to attend the dinner, despite weather warnings - which failed to appear until about an hour after everyone had left Marian Hall.
